07 JULY 2026 — Amazon Australia's Prime Day sale event is live, giving Prime members seven days of exclusive deals across hundreds of thousands of products from now until 11:59PM AEST Monday 13 July 2026. From top global brands to thousands of Australian small businesses, every category on Amazon.com.au is included, such as kitchen and home appliances, tech, toys and even everyday essentials – all with Prime fast and free delivery on eligible items.

This year’s Prime Day event gives savvy Aussies 168 hours to find savings across the brands and categories they love most and make their dollars go further – whether that’s upgrading their tech, refreshing their home, stocking up on pantry staples or getting ahead on gifting.

For the first time, Amazon Haul is joining the Prime Day sale. With hundreds of thousands of items under $5, Amazon Haul is offering Prime members an extra 25% off everything. The discount applies automatically at checkout on top of existing prices, with unlimited purchases all week.

Arno Lenior, Director of Amazon Prime, APAC said: Seven days, hundreds of thousands of deals and the brands Aussies love most – Prime Day is back and it’s unmissable. Aussies love a deal, and this is the event they plan around. With fast, free delivery on eligible items across every category, there’s no better time to be a Prime member.

"The deals are just the start. Prime members also get access to Prime Video and Amazon Music year-round, all included in the membership. If you haven’t tried Prime, the free 30-day trial gives you full access, starting today"

New research commissioned by Amazon Australia shows Australians are cutting back on dining out (51 per cent), travel (40 per cent) and entertainment (35 per cent) – and redirecting that spend toward upgrading their homes during sales events. Rather than spending less, they're spending smarter, with 77 per cent buying fewer items but choosing better quality when they do.

Families with children are leading the shift, with 40 per cent planning to buy technology or electronics and 30 per cent targeting kitchen appliances during sales events – spending 36 per cent above the national average. With industry research showing Australians are expected to spend $10.7 billion during mid-year sales across Australia this year, Prime Day has become a key moment for many households.
