Monday 20 November 2023, Sydney: Amazon Australia has today launched its longest Black Friday Sale ever, giving customers more time to discover bargains and shop, to help their dollar go further, with deals dropping right throughout the event.
The extended event will run for fourteen whole days from 00:01 AEDT 20 November until 11:59 AEDT, 3 December, giving customers access to deals from brands such as Bose, Phillips, Samsung, Sennheiser, Sony, Meta Quest, PlayStation, XBOX, Ecovacs, Miele, Decathlon, Intex, Weber, Barbie, Disney, LEGO, Hot Wheels, Cetaphil, Calvin Klein, Dove, GHD, Hugo Boss, L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline, NYX, Olaplex, OPI, Weleda, Adidas, CRZ Yoga, Crocs, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Fossil, Emporio Armani, Michael Kors, Ray-Ban, American Tourister, Samsonite, Quilton, Cold Power, Dettol, OMO, Dynamo, Cocobella, Lavazza, L'OR, Pepsi, as well as Amazon Basics range and Amazon Devices including Echo, Fire TV, Kindle and Ring.
Deals from Germany, UK, U.S and Japan will also be on offer on Amazon.com.au through Amazon Global Store, giving customers additional opportunities to shop from international selection. For Kiwi customers, a range of Black Friday deals will be available for delivery to New Zealand, with free shipping on orders over $59.
The extended sale is well timed for busy shoppers seeking value as they search for gifts, prepare for holiday travel or hosting commitments at home, with new research commissioned by Amazon Australia revealing an overwhelming 91% of Australians are being more considered with all purchases due to cost of living pressures, and using annual sales like Black Friday to save on bigger ticket items (78%). In fact, savvy spenders are working hard to ensure they’re getting the best bang for their buck with 66% comparing prices and deals across retailers, 56% looking into multiple brands and models of products to compare prices and details, and almost half (49%) checking buyer reviews online before hitting the buy button. Amazon’s extended sale should help those customers who like to ponder a purchase, with over a third (37%) saying they’ll take a few days to decide on their purchases.
As always, Amazon Australia is also offering a variety of fast and convenient delivery options, with shoppers who spend over $59 on a single eligible order being eligible for free standard shipping. All Prime Members will automatically receive free expedited shipping on eligible orders
Alongside the big brands, Amazon.com.au’s Black Friday Sale will also feature Australian brands and businesses including Step One, Sand & Sky, Manscaped, Mermade Hair & Zenify for those looking to support local businesses over the sale.

Research Methodology:
The research was commissioned by Amazon and conducted by Lonergan Research in accordance with the ISO 20252 standard. Lonergan Research surveyed 1,000 Australians 18+. Surveys were distributed throughout Australia including both capital city and non-capital city areas. The survey was conducted online amongst members of a permission-based panel, between 8 and 13 November 2023. After interviewing, data was weighted to be nationally representative from the latest population estimates sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
